FYLD

FYLD is a fast-growing, AI scale-up streamlining workforce management in construction and utilities industries. The core product is a mobile app enabling fieldworkers to record video risk assessments of complex work on construction or utilities sites. These videos can can then be reviewed by managers remotely via the app or on their desktop.

Overview

As a product designer at FYLD I have made many valuable contributions to the product and company culture which have been critical to our growth. I delivered a digital signature functionality allowing 11k non-app users to sign on to risk assessments for 100% compliance on work sites. I’ve visited 20+ work sites ranging from water treatment works to emergency gas repairs to ensure the product meets the needs of the our users, customers and business objectives.

The work I am most proud to have lead in my role is the re-design of FYLD Cloud. This case study will highlight the strategic decisions made, challenges overcome and the positive impact on workforce management and user growth that has resulted.
